GRANT & WEBER was founded by Gene Grossblatt and Hal Weinerman in 1977.  The name was derived from their working alias as collectors, Gene Grant & Hal Weber.  They were involved in the Accounts Receivable Management Industry for more than a decade and believed that they could better serve their clients and customers with a business philosophy of honesty, integrity, professionalism, and customer service.  Both founders were intimately involved with all aspects of GRANT & WEBER since its inception and are responsible for developing what has proven to be one of the most respected and well-known agencies in the United States.

Chief Development Officer / Board Member - Ron Grossblatt
Ron Grossblatt came to work for GRANT & WEBER soon after his graduation from the University of Utah in 1981. He began his employment as a collection trainee and gained first-hand experience by working his way up through every department within GRANT & WEBER in order to experience all aspects of the revenue cycle management process and management of the organization.  Ron was invited to become an owner of GRANT & WEBER in 1986, and now serves as President.  Ron has served as President of the California Association of Collectors (1998-1999) and also served on the CAC Executive Committee from 1995 – 2000.

Chief Executive Officer - Jimi Bingham
Jimi Bingham has been with GRANT & WEBER since January 1987 and serves in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer.  Jimi is responsible for the education of our core competencies and to support staff on issues such as revenue cycle management techniques, client service, and systems utilization.  Jimi oversees most special projects undertaken by GRANT & WEBER, and serves as the primary liaison between the agency and most of our hospital clients. Jimi is a graduate/alumnus of the University of Southern California.

Board Member - Spencer Weinerman
Spencer Weinerman came to work for GRANT & WEBER following his graduation from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1984. Spencer has progressed through all of our departments’ key positions.  Spencer’s vision for services related to the development and collection of Workers’ Compensation claims became a reality in 1999, when he was asked to direct our Workers’ Compensation Recovery division’s efforts, proving to be a very successful highly-specialized service that we provide to healthcare providers.  Spencer has since also developed our Third Party Liability into one of the many healthcare-related services offered by GRANT & WEBER.

Board Member - Dave Weinerman
Dave Weinerman began working for GRANT & WEBER after his graduation from San Diego State University in 1990. In 1997 Dave Weinerman successfully completed his application for Qualified Manager licensing and has led GRANT & WEBER’s California and Nevada Sales & Marketing efforts.

Chief Information Officer - Mary Kempski
Mary Kempski is Chief Information Officer (CIO) at GRANT & WEBER.  Her extensive understanding of business operations, infrastructure, and application deployments as well as her knowledge of products, software, and services helps her advance GRANT & WEBER's business through the use of technology.  As CIO, she has made the IT organization a strategic business partner, producing significant business value for GRANT & WEBER in the form of financial performance, client satisfaction and loyalty, market share, and productivity.  She is leading the strategy for how best to manage and orchestrate the delivery of business technology services internally and for our clients while assuring data security and system integrity at all times for the protection of our clients and their customers.  Her strong commitment to operational excellence, innovative approach to business problems, and aptitude for partnering cross-functionally have reshaped and elevated the role of IT at GRANT & WEBER, resulting in great synergies of IT and the multiple business verticals spanning the organization.  Ms. Kempski has held key technology and executive management positions within Silicon Valley and throughout the U.S.

General Counsel - Reid L. Steinfeld
Reid L. Steinfeld has been in practice since 1979, and has been employed since 1993 as General Counsel for GRANT & WEBER in California.  Reid has written several articles about Workers' Compensation issues and collection matters and was honored by LexisNexis as a Workers' Compensation Notable Person.  He is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the State Bar of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Eastern, Northern, Central, and Southern United States District Courts of California, and is a member of Who's Who in American Law.

Revenue Solutions Division

President - Suzanne Hatch
Suzanne Hatch has worked in progressive leadership roles within the healthcare revenue cycle market for 18 years, focusing her career on delivering results with a consultative approach.  Armed with intimate knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle and reimbursement challenges, she is dedicated to building client service and implementation teams that help clients overcome A/R challenges and achieve business transformation.  Prior to joining GRANT & WEBER Revenue Solutions Division, Ms. Hatch held an Executive Director role for a Top 10 ranked "Best in KLAS" Fortune 200 organization and was proud to accept on its behalf a prestigious "Vendor of the Year" award from Heroes of Health Care.  Ms. Hatch has served on the Executive Leadership Board for WA Providence Health & Services Special Events Foundation, a non-profit organization whose contributions provide healthcare and support benefits to the senior community.  As an active member of the national Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), she has supported the organization as both an exhibitor and sponsor.  Ms. Hatch has also participated as part of industry panel discussions on topics including Big Data & Volume in Healthcare Ops, 501(r) Regulations and PPACA.

Chief Executive Officer - Kevin Lonergan
Kevin Lonergan serves as Chief Executive Officer for the Revenue Solutions Division.  During his 17 years of concentrated healthcare receivables experience, Kevin has guided a number of successful financial initiatives and operational projects within organizations such as Sutter Health and Dignity Health (formerly Catholic Healthcare West).  By stabilizing receivables, improving operational and administrative processes, and fostering change to achieve organizational results, Kevin has won accolades, awards and the trust of clients, executive peers and employees.  Kevin joined the GRANT & WEBER executive management team in January 2010, having left a Fortune 200 company where his division responsibilities included management of sales, finance, operations and client underpayment identification while Vice President of Operations for a Managed Care Underpayment Organization on the West Coast.  Kevin's commitment to quality services for patients, hospitals and the healthcare community has lead him to participate as a key member of the national Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and serve as a featured guest speaker on topics such as Managed Care Underpayments, the Role of Agency Partners in Patient Satisfaction and Customer Service, and Maximizing Recovery through the Revenue Cycle.

Chief Operating Officer - Candy Woodruff
Candy Woodruff has more than 25 years experience in the healthcare industry. Throughout her career, Candy has been involved in all facets of healthcare receivables management. Candy comes from a Fortune 500 company, where she has worked in multiple capacities including both Executive Management and Director level positions within the Revenue Cycle Operations.
